This a supportive, fun and gentle series of various practices that will assist you on your delivery day, when your baby is ready to meet you and the family. There are many postures, examples include; various cats and Goddess Warriors.
A fair section of the class time looks at the ancient Pranayama breathing techniques that assist with easied delivery, such as; Tibetan Longevity Breath, Ujjayi Ocean Breath, Bhramari bee breath, Sitali cooling breath; (feedback always praises these breathing techniques, when the mums reflect back on the whole experience.)
It is useful to spend a short amount of time on meditations each week; sharpen our insights,which gives strength/fortification and assist in any pain relief.
Hopefully the weekly class will make You feel nourished and nutured…Rested and Revitalised.
The class allows mums to work safely with strength and flexibility, so they stay active and fit throughout the pregnancy, this then gives the best opportunity for speedy recovery after the birth.
No prior yoga experience is needed. Please wait until week 14 before we begin our our practice together. Please remember to bring a water bottle with you to ensure you stay well hydrated.
